Global Warming

This is a PAST event. See "Meeting Notes" section for audio, video, documents and other information.

Original event date/time: Friday June 23rd, 2006, 6:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Global warming -- global climate change -- we've all heard about it. It's the subject of our discussion using Tim Flannery's new book "The Weathermakers" as the launch platform.

Abstract:

This is a past event.

Meeting Notes:

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Future Salon tonight: Dan, John, Leonard, Tom, Richard, and Penny.

I think it was a great idea to do peak oil and global climate change back-to-back in May and June. I for one learned a great deal about climate change, and of course, the closely related topic of fossil fuel consumption at tonight's discussion.
